Is it legal for a co-signer on a mortgage to place a lien on other person on same mortgage in the state of KS?

x-wife placed lien on property that she also is on the mortgage for. court granted me property in divorce but legally she is still on the mortgage and title. tried to sell house but have $9000 lien on title and can't give free and clear title. not enough capital gain from sale of house to pay this off with.
