you both have been separated a long time. Are you legally separated though is the question? Any earnings you've received for yourself, past the time of separation, is yours and vice versa. If you are not legally separated, then I suggest you find a way to move your money into an undisclosed account. Ie: family member. or tie it up in a CD. before it gets to late.
