Fallout 3: How do you get into galaxy radio station?

i did the whole quest and now the onlt thing left to do is talk to three dog. but when i got to the station it said i needed a key. so i thought "oh, i must have to talk to the intercom again" so i talked to the intercom and he said "the door is open, stop buzzing me geez" but it still wasnt open. is my game glitched?
