How can i do payphone hypnosis?

ive seen videos where a person would walk up to a ringing payphone, answer it, and then fall into trance a few moments after putting the phone to their ear. ive considered it might be because they were hypnotized before, but ive heard it can be done without that happening. does anyone know how this could be done or where i could find out?
