How do I make a double crochet scarf?

After you finish your last double crochet, chain 3 ( counts as your first double crochet throughout) and turn, double crochet in each of the double crochet stitches of the previous row. When you get to the end, chain 3 and turn. Do this until the scarf is the width you desire and finish off. Hope this helps!
