I NEED SOME HELP BAD?

I need some help bad ok i live in Alabama. I had started working for the Department Of Correctional as a Correctional Officer. I has started on Feb 1, 2010 and had to resign on Sept 15, 2010 due to a convition that I had on my record Theft of Property 3rd Drgree that had happen on 12/16/1999. APOSTE is saying that the convition is a Larceny a Crime of Violence. So i cant have a gun there for I cant be a Law enforcer. I had just turned 21 2 1/2 after the convition was done. It really wasnt me shoplifing but I did say gulity because it was my fist time ever getting in trouble and i didnt no better. So i did paid the fine .Now the am 32 years old older and much wise I wont to move forward with my career with being a Correctional Officer. Am a single parent with a 16 teen year old son thats in the 10th grade. That i need a good job to support and send to college in 2 more years. Well i was working i had to obtain my GED in order to keep my job. I had got that within 2 months. I had to work 8 hours and then drive out of town to get my GED but i did it because i needed to keep me and my son some where to stay and food in our mouth. My job had told me that if. I can get a pardon from my mayor here in my town so Ican come back to work. I had went to my mayor on Nov 30th 2010. And had told him my situation everything that am telling you and he told me that Hes not going to give me a pardon hes never done it and aint going to do it. He said if he gives me one the everybody will be up there trying to get one. He had my record in front of him and a print out saying that he can give me one. This is the only thing that I have on my record that was my First Offense ever getting in trouble. I have not got into any more trouble sents 1999. The mayor of my town had type out a letter for me saying in his letter that. I had came to him for a past case Theft Of Property 3rd for a pardon and he dont no Ms. Flowers peronally there for I dont fell justifty in grantin her a pardon and he sign it. Man that had hurt me so bad someone that wont to work. There is no jobs worth anything in my town but the prison and the mayor knows that.You cant have your record Expungement in Alabama because they dont do that in this state.I have all of my papers in a folder of what i am talking about. I really need so help I have been unemployed for 4 months and having a extremely hard time. Please help me Pardon and Parole cant help because it happen the City of Municipal Court of my town.
