Is it crazy and dramatic dating women?

I don't know about women because i have yet to date a woman, but out of some of the men i have dated one threatened to kill himself if i broke up with him, one threatened to kill my family and friends/everyone in the world that loved me so he would be the only person in the world that loved me and i would have to be with him. I think its just people in general who act crazy in relationships.
