Should I be a writer of novels or comic books?

I know what my answer is without reading all of that. Write what you want. If you prefer comic books then write a comic book, but if you prefer novels then write a novel. There's nothing stopping you from doing both! I'm writing a novel *and* currently planning my first ever screenplay.
